Jim Blair has been engraving longer than he cares to remember. The hobby turned into a professional business 23 years ago just before he came to Glenrock. The town attracted his eye as he wanted to work with a local gunmaker who has since moved out, Roger Green. After more than two decades in the business, Blair says he has not produced a single piece for himself.

Once all the vehicles and operational devices are assuredly working and prepared to respond to fires around Wyoming, the team goes through safety briefings before beginning their morning physical training. Even with no fires burning, there is always something to do at the base.
