ORDINANCE NO. 925

AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE ZONING OF LOT 3, BLOCK 49, TOWN OF DOUGLAS, AS FURTHER DESCRIBED BELOW, WITHIN THE CITY OF DOUGLAS FROM B-1 TO MH-2.

WHEREAS, Mike Blowers and Ellie L. Blowers, husband and wife, have made application to the City of Douglas to change the Zoning of a property they own located at 525 N. 2nd Street, Douglas, WY, and further described below; and

WHEREAS, this application was presented to the Douglas Planning and Zoning Commission at a Public Hearing on September 17, 2012, and forwarded to the Douglas City Council with a “do-pass” recommendation; and

WHEREAS,  this application was presented to and approved by the Douglas City Council at a Public Hearing held September 24, 2012.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOUGLAS, WYOMING, that the zoning classification of the parcel of land platted as Lot 3, Block 49, Original Town of Douglas, Converse County, Wyoming, is hereby adopted as follows, with the exception of the following parcels of land:

Starting at the NW corner of Lot 3, Block 49: thence Southerly along the West line of Block 49, a distance of 107.0 feet to the point of beginning; thence Easterly parallel to the North line of Lot 3 a distance of 98.0 feet; thence Southerly parallel to the East line of Second Street, a distance of 80.0 feet; thence Westerly parallel to the North line of Lot 3 a distance of 98.0 feet; thence Northerly along the East line of Second Street, a distance of 80.0 feet to the point of beginning; and also excepting: starting at the NW corner of Lot 3, Block 49. Of the Town of Douglas, Converse County, Wyoming; thence Southerly along the West line of Block 49, a distance of 90 feet; thence Easterly a distance of 80 feet; thence Northerly a distance of 90 feet; thence Westerly a distance of 80 feet to the point of beginning.

Section 1.     The entirety this parcel, excepting the sections stated above, shall now be zoned Mobile Home-2 from Business-1.  

Section 2.       This ordinance should become effective after its passage, approval, and publication.

Section 3.     Douglas Municipal Code Sections 1.04.050, 1.04.060, and 2.08.060, by reference, are incorporated herein and made a part hereof.

BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, that the Official Zoning Map of the City of Douglas, Wyoming shall be amended to reflect such changes.

PASSED AND APPROVED ON SECOND READING THIS 12th day of October, 2012.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED ON THIRD AND FINAL READING THIS 22nd day October, 2012.
