The games on day three of Regionals get more physical and aggressive. Especially for those in the consolation bracket. Those teams that lost their first game are scrapping hard to stay in the competition.
The second day also brings eliminations. On the boys side Wheatland and Thermopolis were eliminated. Today will send two more teams home and end their season: Newcastle, Torrington, Worland or Douglas.
For the girls, Wheatland and Thermopolis also were eliminated with Rawlins Torrington, Newcastle and Worland on the chopping block today.
The Bearcats will be fighting hard against the Warriors this morning. The loser’s season will end, the winner earns a ticket to state. The last time the Cats squared off against the Warriors was Feb. 10. Douglas came out on top by a mere five points. The final score was 48-43. Worland was the No. 3 seed for the west. Douglas the No. 3 for the east. This game should be an exciting fight till the last buzzer.

11:30 a.m. - Girls - Torrington vs Rawlins (loser eliminated)
1 p.m. - Boys - Torrington vs Newcastle (loser eliminated)
3 p.m. - Girls - Winner of 8:30 a.m. vs winner of 11:30 a.m. (3rd -4th)
4:30 p.m. - Boys - Winner of 10 a.m. vs winner of 1 p.m. (3rd - 4th)
6 p.m. - Girls - Douglas vs Buffalo for championship
7:30 p.m. - Boys - Rawlins vs Buffalo for championship
